Powered by a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.6L direct injected V-6 that is standard in Camaro LS and LT models, Leno’s Camaro blends high performance with surprising efficiency in a racing-ready package. A pair of Turbonetics T-3 turbochargers blows through a custom air-to-air intercooler, force-feeding the engine about seven pounds of boost and lifting its horsepower level to about 425. That’s about 40 percent greater than stock and in normal driving (when the turbochargers aren’t making boost), there’s virtually no penalty in fuel economy over the non-turbocharged 3.6L engine.

“Jay’s Camaro offers style, performance and efficiency in a big way,” said Dewar. “It delivers the power of a Camaro SS on demand, but with the fuel economy of a V-6.”

The amount goes up 10% on Sunday as Sacramento borrows from taxpayers. Technically, it’s not an income tax increase: You’ll get the money back eventually. Reporting from Los Angeles and Sacramento – Starting Sunday, cash-strapped California will dig deeper into the pocketbooks of wage earners — holding back 10% more than it already does in state income taxes just as the biggest shopping season of the year kicks into gear.

Think of it as a forced, interest-free loan: You’ll be repaid any extra withholding in April. Those who would receive a refund anyway will receive a larger one, and those who owe taxes will owe less. But with rising gas costs, depressed home prices and double-digit unemployment, the state’s added reach into residents’ regular paycheck isn’t sitting well with many.

“The state’s suddenly slapping people upside the head,” said Mack Reed, 50, of Silver Lake. “It’s appalling how brash that is.” The extra withholding may seem like a small amount siphoned from each paycheck, but it adds up to a $1.7-billion fix for California’s deficit-riddled books. From a single taxpayer earning $51,000 a year with no dependents, the state will be grabbing an extra $17.59 each month, according to state tax officials. A married person earning $90,000 with two dependents would receive $24.87 less in monthly pay.

California will probably continue to collect the tax at a higher rate for many years — or find an additional $1.7 billion to slice from a future budget, an unlikely occurrence. All workers who have state taxes withheld will see their paychecks shrink. “Many families are sitting at their kitchen table wondering how they’re going to make ends meet,” said state Sen. Tony Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks). “At the same time, the state of California is taking a no-interest loan.”

The tour begins in two days and our ball of energy will be leaving Los Angeles to tour the good ol USA.  She will be performing in front of sold out crowds and listening to the applause from thousands of boyfriends who are happy that their girlfriends took them to see the Paradiso Girls after all!  Aria commands attention and the center of the stage will be her home for months at a time. Check with your local ticket “scalper” and see if you can sneak your way into one of the sold out shows somehow.  I know I will be trying.

Huh?  What?  How the heck did these two meet?  Thats like peanut butter and mayonnaise or jelly and pickles.  I don’t get the connection.  One plays volleyball and one is a musician.  I have got to hear the story of how these two met one day.  It has got to be a good one.  The two pretty ladies were out getting a bite to eat last night at “Boa” steakhouse when we spotted them arriving to get some food and conversation.  I am gonna check the beach soon to see if Sheryl is down there playing volleyball.

The rumour went out that these two got into a fight and broke up last night. Someone said he choked her and they got into an argument on Sunset blvd.  Paris said tonight that it was all made up and that there is no truth to it at all.  Well there ya go!  No need to hear it anymore then I guess. Good to see our platinum princess is in fine shape and that she put the rumours to rest.  Enjoy your night sweetheart!

Tom Green is a moron. Why you ask?  Because he gets paid to be!  That’s what we like about him.  If he acted somber and boring, we would get bored of him quickly and not want to be around him and listen to his funny words.  He says the things we want to say or wish we could say.  He reminds me of the friend you would want to smack in the head but cannot live without when you go out drinking.

When you listen to Fred’s music and you see his persona on videos you get misguided. Well, at least I did.  On the videos he looks as if he would be kind of a pompous jerk, but in real life he is nothing even near that. He seems to be very polite, soft spoken, and cool natured.  Very Zen-like.  I kinda think he’s pretty cool actually.

The doctor of Hip-hop is in the house!  Looking younger than ever and not very criminal, Dr. Dre steps out with his wife onto the L. A. scene.  They jsut appeared out of nowhere this evening at BOA  restaurant.  I know they gotta eat too but I am quite excited to photograph him since I have never seen him in person before.  The huge burly bodyguards were nice enough to let me get the photograph too without crushing my peanut head.  Thanks guys for letting me in to see the Dr.
